Arise Georgians for the Honour and Glory of the Colony! Now is the Moment my noble-minded Georgians, now is the Crisis of our Colony’s fate! Fly to the Standard of our Sovereign, Hasten men of adventure to ride horseback through the woods in pursuit of His majesty’s Enemies. By acting thus Georgians, you shall restore the native Resplendency of our Beloved country, and chastise the Perfidious French, Spaniards, and Indians. ALL REAL VOLUNTEERS Whose hearts are filled with Loyalty for the best of Kings, and Love for the Noblest of Constitutions, and who are willing to maintain the Honour of GEORGIA, in defense against the French, Spanish, and Savage Indian, have now a noble Opportunity of obtaining immortal Renown, by repairing to the Guidon of 1st Troop of Rangers, Georgia Commanded by Captain Ronald Shephard The sons of freedom are alone worthy to support the Honour of Georgia, and the Conduct of the noble Rangers, shall prove that Georgians never wanted Courage to defend their Wives, their Sweethearts, or their Firesides! Such Gentlemen that Chuse to serve their Governor and Colony in the above mentioned TROOP are desired to repair to the Corporal, where they shall receive as large a bounty as any given in the colonies, and enter into immediate Pay and free Quarters, and be treated with every attention that can be hoped for by a SOLDIER.
